WDSF Academy is launching the WDSF Breaking License Training System.
This program has been designed to ensure judges acquire the necessary theoretical and practical skills to fulfil high-level adjudication duties in WDSF Breaking competitions.
Please find below key information for your awareness and dissemination:
Who is eligible?
Judges holding an active or inactive License B. (all 3 parts of the B license exam passed)
Judges holding an active License A (A license exam passed)
Structure of the training program:
- Three training sessions
Online training sessions (60 minutes each)
- Video analysis, simulated scoring, and live feedback
- Final online examination (theoretical + practical)
Please note: Sessions have limited places and require prior registration via the WDSF platform. (Calendar-Congresses)
NMB Role & Responsibilities:
- Confirm eligibility of candidates from your country
- Implement the WDSF Judging System in national events when relevant. Important FAQs for NMBs:
Q: Can inactive License B holders participate?
A: Yes, if they meet the other eligibility criteria.
Q: Can national events count towards the training requirement?
A: Yes, if they use the WDSF Judging System. At least one online training session is still required.
Q: What combinations are allowed?
A: A license candidates must attend at least 3 sessions (training and/or judging eligible events). Example:
- 2 online sessions + 1 WDSF or NMB judged event (using WDSF Judging System)
- 3 online sessions
